Idk, perhaps people are unable to cope with the truth about reality.or it hits to close to home to view it what’s supposed to simply be a cartoon. Before watching it, I would have never offered this kind of person sympathy in life.though I still could never empathize with such actions. Surprisingly, the show even opened my eye’s to the sad and lonely actions of typical sociopaths like the teacher’s character Akane Minagawa. I would say as far as modern American culture goes (outside of the age differences), Kuzu no Honkai depicted humanity’s struggles with unrequited love and moments of lust flawlessly. Tragically, I’ve read several blog reviews that showed than a lack of enthusiasm for the content, and I can’t understand why. While I agree with allot in your synapsis, and personally loved every min of the anime!.
